What is Nutrisystem turbo 10 Offer?

Turbo 10 is a primarily clinically tested program which was launched in early January 2016. This program delivers up to 10 pound weight loss in the first month. The Turbo10 works like a catalyst helping the body lose fat faster. Through a clinical test endorsed by the company, weight loss with Turb10 was compared the do it yourself program, with results showing the Turbo10 exhibited superior results. Turbo10 works three times faster than the DIY program in reducing body weight, body fat as well as loss of total.

Through the Turboshakes component, they provides a line of 7 shakes and priobitics. Turbo10 plan includes 21 scrumptious meals and 7 turboshakes which I found quite helpful when hunger pangs hit. The Turboshakes enhance the digestive system and immune system while reducing the midsection belly bloat.

One of the priobotics, GanedenBc (a protein) helps the body adjust to the new meal structuring. Turbo10 not only works with weight loss issues but reduces systolic blood pressure after the first month. The Turbo10 takeoff plan is comprise of the three basic meals; breakfast, lunch and supper with two shakes daily during the first seven days of the program. In my first week of my Basic Plan, I was started off with the Turbo10 which is given to every new customer except those in the Diabetes Plan

Is the food any good?

I have tried many diet plans in the past, I have had a taste of the good, bad and utterly disgusting. From drinking raw kale juice, to blended herb concoctions, I have gone through a lot of diets that have left my tummy sore, rushing to the bathroom after every few hours.

Nutrisystem not only deviates from unpleasant menus but provides over 150 popular food items. Some examples of these popular foods include; cookies, chocolates, lasagna, muffins, cereals and cheese, quite yummy selection for a diet plan!

The meals are carefully planned through various meal plans to ensure weight loss and overall help goals are attained. They provides nutrient-rich foods, establishing the right combination of calories, carbs, proteins and vegetables that help keep my strength up while keeping my focus on what is important is my life.

The meal plans space out the meals, discouraging binge eating and hunger periods that might lead to deviation of the diet. Smaller frequent meals help curb the cravings, provide fuel for the body and shed more weight.

Is the Auto delivery program worth it?

The auto delivery program is an optional feature in each of diet plans. After I looked at the pricing with auto delivery and without, auto delivery was a no brainer. The massive discounts that come with the monthly auto delivery are so appealing that you’d compare them to those discounts offered during Black Friday.

With Auto delivery gives I enjoyed up to 35% savings. I enjoyed further discounts off the normal one-time rate. Auto delivery also comes with free shipping with every consecutive order. Auto delivery ensures food is shipped every 4 weeks, along with real time tracking that sends reminders once the order has been shipped.

One thing you’d want to look out for is the refund and cancellation policy. You can cancel your order at the time within the first fourteen days. A full refund (less shipping) will be given upon return of the remaining food. However after lapse of the two week period and prior to the second shipment you will accrue a $99 fee for the auto-delivery discount received on your first shipment.

How Much Does cost a Month?

As with any buying decision, price and cost consideration play a very significant role in shaping consumer’s choice. I went through each plan and picked one that fit my budget and still achieved my set dietary weight loss goals. Generally the cost ranges from around $280 to $580 per month.

Does Really Work?

When starting out on a diet program the first question that pops into the a dieter’s mind is the proverbial “does it work?” Weight loss is numbers game by any stretch, the most important aspect of any diet program is its ability to deliver results. These weight loss menus have been tried and tested with a great deal of positive outcomes.

The very essence of weight management loss is centred on meal management. I was able to know in advance what to eat, what not to eat, the portions and different acceptable meal combinations. I found meals to be very balanced. The meal management provided clear and concise meal ranges for intakes of calories, proteins, carbohydrates, fat, vitamin, minerals and other nutrients. The balanced nutrient mix incorporates high quality and tasty foods in the body.

In deed to measure the effectiveness of any weight loss program, results both empirical data as well as success stories. They organises annual contest where participants that have lost weight get to share their stories and testimonials. In an attempt to reach as many people struggling with weight losses actually gives out the program to volunteers and bloggers for free. In return they give unbiased testimonials and reviews.

It also places a lot of emphasis on research and development. They fund or endorse studies, surveys and tests on their programs in order to improve on their various plans.

Studies, Tests and Trials

A lot of research has been carried out on the effectiveness of there meals in the past. I went through two of the major studies and tests.

A study pushed in the journal Postgraduate Medicine in 2009 was done on 69 obese type 2 diabetic participants. The results of this 12 week study spoke volumes with participants that ate meals based on nutrisystem lost up to 18 pounds while the participants in the control group lost 1 pound, who attended diabetes management educational sessions. After 12 more weeks participants on Nutrisystem lost another 24 pounds while the controls who were introduced to Nutrisystem had lost 13 pounds.

In 2010 a study published in the New England Journal examined diet based on glycemic index like Nutrisystem compared to other types of diets. 773 overweight participants on both high and low glycemic diets. Results after 26 weeks showed that the high glycemic index dieters had gained 2 pounds on average than the other group on high glycemic diet. Another similar study in 2009 done by Cochrane Collaboration group on half a dozen randomised controlled trials of low glycemic index dieters over a period of a year. The results showed that participants on low glycemic diets lost 2 more pounds on average than participants on high glycemic diets.

In 2013 a study in the America Journal of Hypertension, on weight loss was carried out on 41 postmenstrual women. Participants that were on Nutrisystem’s diet lost an average of 12 pounds body weight total (10 pounds of belly fat) in the first 12 weeks compared to other participants in the control group. In the same year they tested Diabetes plan, 50 participants on the diet lost 22 pounds over a period of 6 months. This is compared to a control group who lost 5 pound loss.

In 2015 a study in the Annals of Medicine sought to compare various commercial weight loss programs. Results indicated that Nutrisystem participants lost at least 3.8% more weight after 12 weeks on the program compared to a control group that received education and counselling. The research also uncovered the importance of intake of fibres and their role in weight loss. As such they encourages the consumption of fruits and veggies to boost their daily fibre intakes.

The company also funded a study based on customers who commenced the program between 2008 and 2010. Through an online tracking tool, Numi (a digital product that integrates with wearables to track their progress especially if you are on the do-it-yourself program). Researchers studied weight diaries of more than 100,000 overweight and obese participants. After 12 weeks, results from the data collected showed that close to 80% of participants had lost at least 5% of their initial weight. Another 33% had lost 10% or more. By the time 24 weeks some participant had stopped tracking their progress using the online tool. However of the 32,000 that continued recording their weight data, 86% had lost at least 5% of their initial weight, another 63% had lost 10% or more.

Another funded test trial on 161 people was carried out by it’s researchers. Results of the trial showed that dieters lost approximately an average of 8.3 pounds in a month compared to dieters in a control group who lost 2.8 pounds.

In 2013 an article in the New England Journal of medicine gave empirical evidence on the effectiveness of the provision of meals and meal replacement products. The article took into account comparison variables such as balance, variety and moderation. The results and deduction showed greater weight loss through meal-management programs compared “seemingly holistic” weight loss programs.

Fruit and vegetables that are part of a healthy diet

Is there vegetarian plan?

Yes! Namely the Women's Lacto-Ovo Vegetarian Plan and the Men's Lacto-Ovo Vegetarian Plan. The vegetarian plan covers a period of 4 weeks with vegetarian foods including protein, fibre, vitamins and minerals. The meal plan includes over 90 vegetarian options to choose from, including fresh and frozen choices.

Women can enjoy 4 Meals a day including breakfast, lunch, dinner and two snacks. Men on the other hand get 5 meals a day with an extra snack. Both men and women also get to enjoy the Turbo10 in the first weeks of starting off with this program.

Does nutrisystem have a lot of sodium?

Follows the USDA's recommended daily intake of 2300 mg sodium or less for the general population (Dietary Guidelines for Americans, 2010). the sodium content is in line with the amount of actual sodium level needed by the body. All plans have naturally different sodium levels, and may vary based on which you choose as well as the corresponding which grocery food items included in the your meal plan. However it is important to note that some folks might have to reduce their sodium intake to 1500 mg daily.

How long does it take to lose weight?

As with any weight loss, results vary based on adherence to the diet program. Often than not I failed at many diets because I didn’t follow through the program till the end. It is important for people to understand that weight loss needs dedication and work. I heard a lot of success stories about the company and went through the “before” and “after” photos and I was very impressed.

Introduction of the Turbo10 reduces up to 10 pounds, shedding off over 5 inches from the weight within the first month. Nutrisystem allows the dieter to choose what they want to achieve through the program with the various plans available.

I was always a few pounds overweight, but that never really seemed to bother me until one embarrassing moment during a vacation. I got stuck on a water slide. It was just for a few minutes but it was enough to draw out a lot of laughs. Later on after I went home, I decided to look up some statistics on weight related issue. I used to eat a lot of junk and could see the path I was taking and I wasn’t very impressed. Then I decided to look at some of the best weight loss programs and came across this particular programme.

The first few months weight loss was quite visible and I couldn’t fit some clothes. Later on the rate of weight loss became slower after losing 55lbs. After the first few months of eating these healthy meals I was still losing an average of 6 lbs every month. The weight loss program is healthy and my body adjusted to the minimum nutrient intakes recommended.

It is important to note that it  is not a crash diet, but encourages exercises to augment weight loss. Cardio and strength training guides are provided and they help to reduce weight and shed off fat faster.
