Ancheer Treadmill Review

As relative newcomers to the market of motorized treadmills, Ancheer had a lot of goals to achieve in order to deliver a competitive piece of fitness equipment. With many contenders on the market, achieving a great result certainly isn’t an easy task.

Review of:
Ancheer Treadmill

But as we get to know their flagship model, also named Ancheer, we can understand that they really made it count. This sturdy, refined, and reliable treadmill offers a variety of very useful elements, and puts the usual design into a whole new level.

Just as most well known brands and manufacturers follow a set of pre established design elements, so does Ancheer with their approach. This treadmill features all the basic contemporary elements, albeit in a more humble, low end package.

The outer frame is constructed from durable steel frame, and contains an especially placed cross brace to ensure ultimate balance and strength. The lower support joints of the frame are very uniquely designed, as they offer both strength and mobility for the running deck. It is clear that a lot of attention was given to the frame of the Ancheer Treadmill.
As is usual, the vertical frame supports a prominent and large user console, which is – surprisingly – designed in a much more effective way than some treadmills we’ve seen so far. It also contains two neatly placed handles, which offer ample stability for most users.

They also contain a bit of nifty additions which are very unique for Ancheer, and we’ll mention them in just a moment.

Technical Specifications

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that the Ancheer treadmill, with all of its interesting features, comes as a very robust and sturdy piece of equipment. The braced, durable frame, suitably wide running deck, and optimal height to width ratio all guarantee that you will not have to worry at all about durability. There will also be no shaking and wobbling during use, thanks to the running deck which allows for enough movement and shock absorption.

It also boasts a surprising max user weight of 265 lbs (120 kg). This ensures that almost all regular users will have no issues using this treadmill to its full extent.

The dimensions of Ancheer are as follows:
Set up: 59.1 x 45.7 x 26.0 inch
Folded: 55.1 x 25.6 x 20.9 inch

Incline and Adjustability

Just like most low end motorized treadmills, Ancheer opted for an old school manual approach, compared to the more modern digital incline control. It offers three different manual incline options, all of which are set up with a simple manual method. It offers a plenty of variation for users, whether you want something simple or something more challenging. But this incline is just the basis of its adjustability.

What you get further on is a choice of different speed settings, which go up to 7.5 miles per hour. You can choose your desired settings directly from the console, but also from the handlebars. This addition is fantastic, and unique for Ancheer – two buttons embedded into the handlebars allow you to quickly change the speed setting on the go, allowing you to naturally adapt to the change of pace.

Console and Programmes

The prominent large console is rather straightforward, but still better than some high end consoles we’ve seen. It offers two large holders for odds and ends, two integrated speakers, a USB port, a 3.5 inch jack for your MP3, and an emergency shut off mechanism.  The large LCD display offers all the standard information you might need, including speed, distance, calories burned, time elapsed, etc.
The shut off mechanism works on the principle of a small clip that is connected to the console and you. In case anything happens, the clip will shut the treadmill off. A nice addition to ensure your safety.

The console also comes with 12 different presets installed, allowing you for a lot of variety in your workouts. Ancheer also included a free to use app that you can install on your smartphone, and use as you workout. The app offers a lot more variety and flexibility, putting the treadmill onto a whole new level.

Motor and Belt

The 2.25 horse power motor is not amongst the most powerful ones on the market, but it still has enough of a kick to do what it should. It gets the treadmill running up to 7.5 miles per hour, and provides enough of a challenge for most users. And with the protective plastic casing around it, it is quiet and without vibrations.

The running belt measures 1200 by 400 mm, and is made from a thick durable rubber material with antistatic abilities. It guarantees unprecedented durability over time. It also features and extra wide running deck, so you have a neat place to stand when you need to stop running abruptly.
The one thing we have to mention is the folding ability of the Ancheer treadmill. It features a hydraulic, soft drop folding system which requires zero effort on your side, and makes Ancheer unique on the market.

It is a great addition for all of you with limited work space. It can easily be folded and wheeled out of site when not in use.

Assembly and Maintenance

Ancheer treadmill comes largely pre assembled, and the work you need to put in it is very minimal. With clear instructions and basic skills you can have it ready for use in no time at all.
Considering maintenance you will have to apply the general rules. After the first year of use you will have to lubricate regularly every few months, in general twice a year. But this is not something to keep on your mind – Ancheer is a reliable product with minimal efforts needed for its maintenance.
