Ativafit Adjustable Dumbbells
The Ativafit adjustable dumbbells come in three different versions. They offer several weight ranges and different adjustment mechanisms.
Ativafit 27.5 lb GlideTech Dumbbell Single
This is the smallest version of the three. It provides weight adjustment between 5 lb and 27.5 lb. You can adjust the weight with increments of 5.5 lb to choose from one of five different weight settings.
A single dumbbell comes with eight black polished paint weight plates that are durable and wear-resistant.
It’s equivalent to four different weight dumbbells combined together in a single one.
The construction of the dumbbell is very durable and stylish at the same time. The contoured handle is chrome-plated and features a soft grip covered in a knurled rubber material to provide more comfort, a secure grip, and prevent the dumbbell from skidding due to sweat.
The bar itself is made from chrome-plated heavy-duty steel with black polished paint to protect against rust and corrosion.
This version uses a push-pull design for the adjustment mechanism. You can change the total weight of the dumbbell by simply pulling up the pin, sliding it along the guide to the desired weight, then pushing it back down.
The mechanism is both smooth and easy to quickly adjust the loads during your workout routine. However, it’s important to note that you should only adjust the weight when the dumbbell is securely placed inside the tray.
By using a different weight using the slider, plates are added or removed from the bar. The weight locking system uses a latch design.
The dumbbell has 8 lock grooves where the weights engage or disengage. They are made from high-density plastic to offer good strength when holding the plates and keep them from falling.
The dumbbell and the tray are compact in design, which makes it good for storage as it takes less space.
The tray is made from plastic, so don’t expect it to handle heavy drops but it’s strong enough for moderate use. The overall design is aesthetically nice.
This dumbbell is suitable for novice users who want good weights for basic workouts.
