The Titan T-2 short power rack is specifically designed to fit in low-ceiling rooms and allow users to get the most out of their workouts. The power rack from the T-2 series can go as low as 6ft in height.
A common source of concern for many people is that they won’t be able to exercise in short-ceiling rooms the same way as they do in bigger spaces. That’s why they’re reluctant to get a power rack to optimize their routine. However, with a short power rack such as Titan’s T-2 series, you can get all the benefits and perform a wide range of exercises including, but not limited to, military press, bench press, dips, squats, curls or shrugs.
The Titan T2 is an impressive rack and it actually came first in our category for the best power rack with a pull up bar, which you can find here.
When it comes to the maximum capacity, Titan T-2 Series short rack can sustain up to 700lbs. A useful thing to mention is that the short rack comes with the pair of the original Titan J-hook racks. These hooks offer 21 positions on the rack, thus enabling users to accommodate various heights and perform different kinds of workouts using this single power rack.
The most prominent feature of this short rack is its simplistic or minimalistic design, but the sturdy construction ensures durability and ease of use.
The short rack is made of metal 2” x 2” steel tube construction. The chin-up bar is 1 ¼” in diameter while the total height of the pull bar is 71.5” which is more height than most people require to do a good pull up.
Due to it being made specifically to shorter and smaller spaces, the short rack doesn’t take up too much floor space, just 48” x 58”. The depth of T-2 series short rack is 45” while measurement inside from front to back is 26”.
If you’ve always wanted to own a power rack, but space where you’d place it is small, low, and cramped, then T-2 series short power rack would fit in easily.
Hole spacing of 1.25” is provided from the bottom hole edge to the next top hole edge. This is perfect for resetting the strong safety bars for users who prefer comfortable height range for their workouts.
At the back of this T-2 unit, the storage weight plate is placed, and its dimensions are 1.25” in diameter and 7.5” height. While the unit can’t support 1” plates, it accommodates standard Olympic plates.
Two sets of wide-cut pattern grips or knurling grooves are featured on the pull-up bar on the front of the rack. Users weighing up to 146 lbs can safely do their pull-ups. But, unfortunately, it could be a problem for them if someone is a bit overweight.
Those that are heaver than recommended maximum should take a look at some of these power racks that include a pull up bar.

All in all, this is the best short power rack on the market and the fact that you have a low-ceiling room shouldn't stop you getting in a good workout.
